Sensitivity

Method: The monkeypox rapid detection reagent (Catalogue number: MDE015) was used for the sensitivity test. Plasmids containing monkeypox virus loads of 2500 copies, 5000 copies, and 10000 copies were used as samples. Two replicate wells were set up for each group.

Results: The minimum number of copies per reaction for detecting the monkeypox virus was 50 when the Ct value was set at 37 according to the guidlines of China's National Medical Products Administration. The baseline remained stable, and the no-template control (NTC) exhibited a horizontal line, indicating excellent sensitivity and specificity of the reagent.

Linearity

Method: The monkeypox rapid detection reagent (Cat#MDE015) was used for the linearity test. Plasmids with monkeypox virus loads of 104 copies, 105 copies, 106 copies, and 107 copies were used as samples. Duplicate wells were set up for each assay.

Results: The monkeypox virus could be detected within the range of 100 to 10,000 copies with good repeatability between parallel wells

About Fapon Molecular Diagnostics

Our first fluorescence quantitative PCR detection platform was built in 2009. Building upon this success, we subsequently expanded to the development of the next generation sequencing (NGS) platforms.

15 years of experience

Over the course of 15 years, we have made significant progress and emerged as a leading supplier of PCR raw materials, offering a wide range of polymerases, reverse tranases, buffer solutions, and other essential materials for PCR and sequencing applications. Our expertise and experience in this field have allowed us to scale up production and meet the growing demand for these technologies.

MDx semi-finished reagents

Our capabilities extend to the development, validation, and production of MDx semi-finished reagents for template preparation and genetic detection of a wide range of pathogens associated with tropical diseases (malaria, dengue and Zika), respiratory infections (variants of SARS-CoV-2), hepatitis C and HPV.

One-stop PCR solutions

We also provide fast real-time PCR instruments as part of our one-stop PCR solutions.
