Nous 30V Fully Automatic Molecular Diagnostic System for Veterinary Diagnostics
Nous 30V is a total solution for point-of-care molecular diagnostics in pet hospitals and clinics, developed by PawNovo, a subsidiary of Fapon. It combines magnetic bead-based nucleic acid extraction and quantitative fluorescence polymerase chain reaction (qPCR) technologies to provide rapid results. Its unique cartridge design ensures that the reaction is sealed off. Multiple measures are to prevent cross-contamination and deliver reliable results. The limit of detection is as low as 20 copies/mL. The precision (CV) is not higher than 5%. With minimal manual involvement and a fully automatic process from samples to results in 30 minutes, it considerably reduces the turnaround time. Nous 30V, with singleplex and multiplex tests across a broad menu, is ideal for pet hospitals and veterinary research institutes.

Fast and intelligentThe cartridges are pre-filled with extraction reagents and magnetic beads. No manual preparation is required. Hands-on time is reduced to no more than 2 minutes. Add samples, set up the system, and just wait for results.

Stable and reliableEach cartridge comes with an internal control to detect if the sample is collected correctly. The sample and reagents are mixed by a rotating magnet sleeve, and sealed off with mineral oil. The extracted nucleic acid is amplified in an airtight tube. An alcohol-free formula, UV irradiation, membrane filtration and an aerosol-eliminating spray are used to further minimize contamination.
